Date: Thursday, July 19, 2012
Time: 10:00 AM PT/ 1:00 PM ET
Overview:
Speakers
  • John Lyons, End User Computing Field Marketing Manager, Dell Inc.
  • Denis Gaudreault, Business Development Manager, Intel Canada Federal

The workplace is changing. Regardless of your role, the traditional work place and work day is rapidly becoming a thing of the past. The reality of a 24 hour global work cycle and advances in consumer technology combined with the ubiquity of the Internet and changing beliefs among the population has impacted the way we work. In addition, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) trends promise flexibility and increased productivity through leveraging the choice of any device, and anytime anywhere access to the workplace.

These changes impact IT and challenge traditional ways IT manages and supports end point devices. There are now multiple end points, device types, and operating systems entering your workplace and accessing your environment.

Join John Lyons of Dell and Rich Nockels of Intel, where they will discuss:
  • Trends in end point convergence
  • Tangible strategies and Best Practices for responding to BYOD trends in your organization
  • Solutions for optimizing end point management and support in your environment
  • Ways to realize productivity gains through taking control of heterogeneous end point management
  • Addressing security and management needs
