Power and cooling are a big hit on data center efficiency from a cost, operational, and carbon footprint perspective. Managing highly dense racks — and the potential thermal issues they bring — creates a whole set of unique challenges. Yet enterprises routinely struggle to accurately measure, monitor and control power use.
Join us for an in-depth look at new power management capabilities in Dell PowerEdge 12th generation servers that address these challenges. You’ll learn:
- How to identify the areas where power efficiency can be improved
- How to reduce the risk of cooling failures due to brownouts or rolling blackouts
- How to enable quick responses for reducing server power consumption and heat output in case of a cooling emergency.
