Give me something useful, that I might use every day. 


@Joe, no doubt the thing should be useful but I feel the gift should also help to spread word about E2. So looks like items like T-Shirts and mugs are more useful because people can read the logos/messages on these items.

My vote is for T-shirt and coffee mugs. These items will help us to spread awarness about E2 site as well and thus help more people join our community so that we have more new ideas discussed on this site.

Agreed, Nicky!  I was grateful to snag a whole bunch at a couple of recent conferences.  Then, stuck for a gift for someone this Christmas, I found one of the unused flash drives from such a conference lying around.  Worked perfectly on Christmas morning.  :)

There are fun ones too; I got a few that were shaped like poker chips -- and you pulled the flash drive out from it.

I remember a company, DoubleDutch, giving out jump ropes (get it?) at the E2.0 conference a year ago.

Cute, but the thing is just sitting around.  Thinking about throwing it out.

Shirts are an attractive option, but unless they're tasteful (small logo just over the heart), they wind up being bumming-around/pajama/painting clothes.

Give me something useful, that I might use every day.  A coffee mug.  A belt clip for my phone.  A case for my sunglasses or my power supply.  A shoulder bag or backpack.

And clicky pens.  Lots and lots of clicky pens.  If a vendor was giving out clicky pens and one-subject notebooks, I'd just give him my bag and say, "Fill 'er up!"

@Susan  I bet there's some guy selling something just like that from a table on a street somewhere in Manhattan, next to the $5 pashminas and the drug paraphenalia.
