E2 Radio: 2 Episodes for the New YearCurtis Franklin Jr., Executive Editor | 1/15/2013 |
This week brings two episodes of E2 Radio that will help IT executives make their enterprise more effective, more efficient, and more productive for every employee touching an application.
First up is a look at a critical, but often overlooked tool for maintaining IT system performance. Build a Better User Experience Through Better Monitoring comes your way at 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 16. This episode will explore the ways in which end-to-end, cross-platform monitoring allows IT managers to stay on top of overall system conditions and deal with minor issues before they become major problems. In this episode, executive editor Curtis Franklin will be joined by Steve Fox, product manager for Foglight at Dell Software, focusing on the end-user technology suite. Steve has 20 years of experience in the software industry, focused mainly on end-user management technologies, natural language processing, voice recognition, and machine learning applications. Prior to Dell, he worked primarily as a system engineer for numerous companies in the above technology spaces, and as CTO for a company he founded specializing in multimedia, self-service software using natural language and voice recognition technology for websites and call centers. Steve is a graduate of the University of Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering. Register here and make plans to join us at 12:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 16, for Build a Better Experience Through Better Monitoring. On Thursday, January 17, we switch gears and focus on the importance of staying on top of the regulatory side of enterprise computing with Compliant or Caught, an important episode of E2 Radio starting at 12:00 p.m. ET. Compliance isn't optional for companies that fall under one or more regulatory regimes. Government regulators wield real power and the authority to levy real penalties for non-compliance. Businesses that want to remain compliant while maintaining a competitive advantage have to build compliance into their processes and systems, creating a climate that simply doesn't allow non-compliance to take root in the culture and architecture of enterprise IT. Join executive editor Curtis Franklin and his guests as they take a deep look into the regulatory burden facing enterprise IT and how regulatory compliance can be a stepping stone to better IT performance and more comprehensive security. Register here and join us on Thursday, January 17 at 12:00 p.m. ET for what is sure to be a most interesting episode of E2 Radio!
